Dear Mrs. Zhrihen,
I just read goosebumps "The Deadly Experiments of Doctor Eeek" by RL. STINE. The tone is very mysteries and thrilling, the mood for me was very energetic, and the genre of the book was fantasy. The main characters were Doctor Eeek and Sam. The protagonist was Sam and the antagonist Doctor Eeek; for example Doctor Eeek trapped Sam and his friend in a cage and threw sticky goo on his feet, arms and mouth not letting them move or talk. I used strategies two before were skim and skan and read the back. Two strategies were while we were looking for clues and asked questions. After reading the book I looked back for more clues and asked myself questions; for example when Sam and his friend were in Doctor Eeek's lab, I asked myself why they didn't touch anything. The scenes were taken place in Doctor Eeek's lab and the doctor's office. The conflict is man vs. man because it was Sam against Doctor Eeek. He wanted to take over Doctor Eeek's project because Sam knew Doctor Eeek was a bad guy and he didn't want him to be responsible for something so great. The theme of the story was about an evil monkey, Doctor Eeek, that trapped a boy, Sam, because Sam was trying to take his project away from him. The moral of this book taught me that good always overcomes evil. The author's purpose in writing this book was to entertain kids with his humor and mysteries. The author's perspective is objective because Doctor Eeek had a goal to stop Sam and his friend from destroying his project. I rate for this book was a seven because its mysterious and I love mysteries and the suspense it gives me inside that I didn't want to let the book down.
Sincerely,
Maor
